Windows 7 Student/Personal Installation Guide
All student/personal Windows licenses are upgrade only. Also, there are some changes to the installation procedures with the release of Windows 7. Microsoft has changed some ways in which you may or may not install using the student/personal license and media.
The attached PDF goes over many options for installing Windows 7 on previous versions of Windows as well as cross architecture (32 bit to 64 bit).

Windows 7 now available!
Windows 7 Ultimate and Pro is now available for student and personal purchase.
Windows 7 Ultimate is the complete package and includes everything that Windows 7 has to offer. In addition to all the other features of Windows 7 Home and Professional, Ultimate includes additional security features such as Applocker and Bitlocker that makes your Windows 7 PC even more secure, and includes a multi-language pack, allowing you to switch between 35 languages.
VMware Training Classes Offered
Penn State's Computer Store is coordinating 2 VMware training classes at the University Park campus. Both courses will be offered by VMware trainers and have class sizes limited to 12 attendees. Snacks and lunch are included.

SAS 9.2 Incompatibility/System Requirements Update
SAS 9.2 licenses are now available, however, SAS 9.2 has incompatibility/system requirements issues that users should be aware of.

Campus Agreement
Those groups that have Windows Upgrades through Campus Agreement will receive media from the Computer Store the week of August 17th, 2009. The media will be shipped to your Administrative Areas appointed contact. The versions included will be Windows 7 Professional and Windows 7 Enterprise. Autodesk 2010 Products
Licenses and media for the 2010 versions of Autodesk products are now available for purchase. Those departments that are current on their renewals need only purchase media to upgrade their licenses.
