Penn State’s Computer Store Laptop Computers 4 Credit Program will run indefinitely. The Store reserves the right to reject any laptop that does not in our sole discretion meet the acceptable criteria we have established. The Store reserves the right to revise the criteria, suspend or terminate the Program at its sole discretion without prior notice.

Eligibility:
The Program is available only to eligible students, faculty and staff for personally-owned laptops and is not available for departmental machines.

Acceptable Program Items:
Store Associates will only accept laptop computers. No desktop computers, printers, fax machines, monitors or other technical items will be accepted under the Laptop Computers 4 Credit Program at this time.

Computer Ownership:
Eligible Program participants will be required to fill out an Affidavit of Data Sanitation and Computer Ownership form to confirm true and rightful ownership of trade-in laptop.

Important notice regarding personal private or confidential information:
Penn State’s Computer Store and the University are not responsible for and disclaims any and all liabilities, costs (including attorney’s fees and court costs), expenses, damages, losses or judgments arising out of any residual data found or stored in the hardware, software or removable media, etc. of the laptop brought in for trade-in/recycling.
